Since I wrote this devotional, my husband’s health has declined, and I have not continued volunteering with the food distribution program on Saturday mornings. Thankfully, my friends Jane and Debbie continue to assemble a box of groceries and deliver it to us every week. What a blessing!

The food is a considerable help budget-wise. More importantly, I am strengthened and comforted to know we are remembered with love.

Doug was diagnosed with dementia last year. We are traveling a rocky road, but the Holy Spirit is our companion and guide. I am grateful that God has provided friends like Jane and Debbie to cheer us along the way.
